We are representing a prestigious global law firm seeking a highly skilled Securities Lawyer to join its Investment Funds Group. The focus of this role is on structured securities offerings, particularly in the area of commercial real estate law, including real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing complex transactions in the real estate sector, including acquisitions, restructurings, financings, and development projects.

Candidates should have strong experience advising both public and private real estate companies, REITs, institutional investors, and financial organizations on a broad range of sophisticated real estate matters. Strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, business judgment, and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively are essential for success in this role.

• Lead structured securities offerings and real‑estate finance transactions, with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings.
• Advise public and private real‑estate companies, REITs, and institutional investors on commercial real‑estate matters.
• Provide strategic advice on real‑estate development and financing transactions.
• Manage large‑scale, complex client projects and collaborate with attorneys and business professionals.
• Demonstrate leadership in managing and influencing transactions and client relationships.

• JD from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• 6+ years of experience managing structured securities offerings and handling real‑estate finance transactions.
• Proven expertise in acquisitions, restructurings, complex financings, and development within the real‑estate sector.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and sound business judgment.
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying.

• Expected salary range: $310,000 – $550,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
