In-House Contract Attorney – New York - Legaltech (70%-100%)
We are looking for a talented and experienced Contract Attorney with a strong background in US contract drafting to be part of its growing Legal Tech team, based in NY, United States of America.
Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and revise a wide range of contracts governed by US law, with a high level of autonomy, precision, and consistency, ensuring alignment with US and New York state legal requirements and best practices
Identify drafting issues and propose improvements to enhance the quality, reliability, and consistency of contract templates and automated contractual outputs
Provide structured legal input to support the development and refinement of AI-assisted contract drafting tools
Work independently and asynchronously in a fast-paced start up environment, demonstrating initiative, accountability, and attention to detail
Essential QualificationsJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
At least 4 years of experience as an attorney in a US law firm and/or in-house role, with a strong focus on contractual and/or corporate matters
Strong, autonomous contract drafting and review skills across commercial and corporate agreements
Excellent legal drafting skills in English
Preferred QualificationsExperience in AI, Tech, or Legal Tech companies
Excellent legal drafting skills in Spanish.
Exposure to contract automation, template-based drafting, or review of automated outputs
Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional or international contract structures
