A leading international law firm is seeking an Assistant Managing Clerk to join its Managing Attorney’s Office. This role is essential in ensuring accurate, timely court filings and litigation calendaring across federal, state, and appellate matters.
Key Responsibilities- Handle review, preparation, and electronic filing of legal documents (federal, state, appellate)
- Manage litigation deadlines and maintain a precise calendaring
- Advise attorneys and staff on court rules and filing procedures
- Coordinate service of process and communicate with courts and external vendors
- Maintain organized records of filings and stay current on rule changes
- Experience with calendaring systems (Compu Law, eDockets, Milana, Court Alert
- Proficiency with NYSCEF, ECF, PACER, and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of court rules, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3–5 years of managing clerk or litigation support experience
