A nationally recognized law firm with a strong reputation in insurance defense, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its growing office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with litigation experience—particularly in general liability, insurance defense, or construction-related disputes—to take on challenging work in a collaborative, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities- Independently manage a caseload involving general liability, construction, and insurance defense matters.
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including trials, arbitrations, mediations, and motion practice.
- Conduct and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and develop case strategies.
- Draft pleadings, discovery, and legal memoranda.
- Make regular court appearances and argue motions.
- Collaborate with partners on high-stakes and complex litigation matters.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in Texas; additional admissions are a plus.
- 3+ years of commercial litigation, general liability, or insurance defense experience.
- Strong litigation skills with proven trial, arbitration, or deposition experience.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage cases independently while working in a team-focused environment.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $200,000, commensurate with experience.
