This role is an integral part of Latham's Office of the General Counsel (OGC) team. The OGC Analyst will analyze, interpret, and act upon conflicts reports regarding incoming lateral candidates, validate conflict check accuracy, and collaborate with attorneys and conflicts staff across multiple offices.
Base Pay Range$75,000.00 per year - $95,000.00 per year.
Responsibilities- Administer conflicts review for all lateral attorney candidates and assist with completion of the conflicts questionnaire.
- Obtain guidance from attorneys or conflicts staff on jurisdictional requirements to evaluate lateral conflicts checks.
- Analyze conflict reports to identify matters requiring additional review, and communicate follow‑up questions and ethical committee actions.
- Prepare summaries of conflict analysis and resolution and report these to sponsoring attorneys and recruiting departments.
- Work with OGC leadership to triage work efficiently and follow managerial guidance.
- Protect all highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, or proprietary information.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Professional interpersonal skills and ability to interface with attorneys, management, support staff, and outside contacts.
- Organizational skills to manage time, prioritize, and handle multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, or a four‑year bachelor’s degree (equivalent experience accepted).
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience at a law firm or professional services firm.
- Experience with Intapp Open software preferred.
