This role requires 3+ years of transactional commercial and multifamily real estate experience; litigation-only, residential-only, or purely affordable housing policy backgrounds will not be a fit

They advise developers, owners, and investors on sophisticated transactions involving multifamily housing, tax-advantaged financing, joint ventures, and large-scale development projects across more than 30 states, combining elite transactional work with a collaborative, small-firm culture.

• Lead and manage complex commercial real estate and multifamily transactions from start to close
• Play a central role in acquisitions, dispositions, development deals, joint ventures, and financings
• Draft, negotiate, and review core transaction documents and closing materials
• Supervise junior associates and coordinate deal teams efficiently
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, lenders, and outside counsel

• 3+ years of transactional commercial real estate experience
• Meaningful exposure to multifamily, development, or financing transactions
• Experience “running a deal” or taking ownership of transaction workflows
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills
• Licensed to practice law in New York
