Trueline's client, a globally recognized law firm known for handling complex and high-stakes matters for sophisticated clients, is seeking a Legal Assistant to join their team in a hybrid capacity (4 days in-office).
This role supports a fast‑paced private client practice and is ideal for an early‑career legal or administrative professional who thrives on organization, precision, and collaboration within a team‑oriented environment.

LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE IS STRONGLY PREFERRED!
What You'll Do as the Legal Assistant:- Draft, prepare, and organize private client documents including wills, trusts, amendments, powers, and related materials
- Assemble execution and post‑execution documents, including certified excerpts and proper backing
- Create, edit, format, and proofread complex legal documents and correspondence in Microsoft Word
- Open new matters, request conflict checks, and maintain accurate client and matter records
- Manage matter files from opening through closing in accordance with records procedures
- Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
- Provide professional phone coverage and timely message management
- Enter attorney time, prepare expense reports, and support billing coordination as needed
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and fellow assistants to support daily workflow
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Assist with general administrative tasks and special projects as assigned
- 1 to 3 years of administrative or legal support experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Outlook
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong judgment, initiative, and follow‑through
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Prior experience supporting trusts, estates, or private client practices
- Familiarity with legal billing, time entry, or expense systems
- Experience working in a team‑based legal support model
- Competitive compensation range of $55,000 to $75,000
- Hybrid schedule with four days in‑office
- Exposure to high‑level legal work and sophisticated clients
