Corporate Associate, Infrastructure M&A | New York
Our AmLaw 100 client is building out its infrastructure M&A platform in New York. This is a seat for a corporate associate who wants real deal responsibility in infrastructure, energy, and renewables transactions, not a narrow silo.
The practice advises sponsors, developers, funds, utilities, and infrastructure owners on transactions that sit at the intersection of M&A and project finance. The work is complex, market-facing, and consistently high stakes.
The RoleYou will work on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and project-related transactions across infrastructure, energy, renewables, and transportation. Matters run from bid process through closing and require close coordination with project finance, tax, and regulatory teams. This is hands‑on deal work with meaningful exposure to clients and senior lawyers.
Ideal Background- 3–5 years of experience in corporate M&A
- Prior exposure to infrastructure, energy, or project finance strongly preferred
- Experience running work streams and managing transaction timelines
- Comfort working across disciplines rather than staying in a pure M&A lane
- Large law firm training required
This platform is known for sophisticated infrastructure deals and an integrated corporate and project finance approach. Associates here develop fluency across both disciplines, which translates into stronger marketability and faster professional growth. The group is lean by design, so strong associates are visible, trusted, and given room to operate. New York based. Market compensation with bonus upside.
