Job Details (Contract & Pay):
This is a contract position with an estimated end date of May 2027. The hourly rate is $24.00. Please note that contract roles are not eligible for additional monetary benefits or health care coverage.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a rising 2L to join our Legal Department as a Legal Intern. This role will support the Marketing & Innovation Legal Team based in New York, NY and is intended to provide hands-on exposure to the practice of law in an in-house environment. The internship will be full-time during Summer 2026 and part-time during the academic year (Fall 2026 and Spring 2027), with a hybrid option available depending on the applicant.
Responsibilities include assisting attorneys and legal staff with contract and policy drafting, creating presentations and training decks, and conducting research and analysis across corporate, contract, intellectual property, alcohol beverage, and advertising law.

What you'll do
:
Assist attorneys and legal staff with contract drafting and contract review, as well as policy drafting and updates.
Conduct legal research and analysis using Westlaw and other resources in areas including corporate, contract, intellectual property, alcohol beverage, and advertising law.
Create and update presentations, training decks, and other materials to support internal education and guidance.
Support day-to-day legal requests from the Marketing & Innovation teams by gathering information, summarizing issues, and helping move matters forward.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, track deadlines and action items, and maintain organized work products.
Work full-time during Summer 2026 and continue supporting the team part-time during Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 (15-20 hours/week).

Qualifications:
Rising 2L at an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
Authorized to work in the United States and at least 21 years of age.
Available to work full-time in Summer 2026 and 15-20 hours/week during Fall 2026 and Spring 2027.
Prior experience in a legal working environment.
Westlaw competency and strong legal research skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.
