About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Immigration Attorney to join our New York City practice. This role involves managing a diverse caseload of employment-based and/or family-based immigration matters, advising clients on U.S. immigration strategy, and representing individuals and businesses before U.S. immigration agencies.
The ideal candidate is client-focused, organized, and confident navigating complex immigration regulations while delivering practical, timely solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end immigration cases, including strategy, drafting, filing, and follow-up
Prepare and review immigration petitions and applications such as:
H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3
PERM labor certifications
I-140, I-485, adjustment of status
Family-based petitions and consular processing (if applicable)
Advise corporate and individual clients on immigration options, compliance, and risk
Communicate directly with clients, government agencies, and internal stakeholders
Respond to RFEs, NOIDs, and other agency correspondence
Stay current on immigration laws, policies, and regulatory changes
Maintain accurate case records and meet strict filing deadlines
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license and good standing with a U.S. state bar (NY preferred)
2+ years of immigration law experience (employment-based preferred; family-based a plus)
Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and procedures
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism and client service orientation
Experience with high-volume corporate immigration
Familiarity with case management systems (e.g., Docketwise, INSZoom, Law Logix)
Prior experience working with startups, tech companies, or multinational clients
Bilingual abilities (a plus, not required)
Competitive base salary ($130,000-$250,000) Depending on experience
