Location: Jackson Heights
A company is looking for a Counsel, Litigation to join their legal team remotely in the New England region.
Key Responsibilities Manage and support litigation cases and pre-litigation matters, including various insurance defense cases Assist with document production and witness preparation for depositions and trials Monitor litigation matters and prepare status updates, internal reports, and strategic recommendations
Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state 3+ years of litigation experience in handling insurance defense matters Proficiency in insurance law and the regulatory framework governing relevant sectors Exceptional litigation skills, including experience with witness preparation and discovery procedures Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage issues, and claims handling processes
