Position: Paralegal (On-site)

HEPCO is seeking a qualified Paralegal for our client in New York. This role supports legal operations related to regulatory compliance matters, specifically within a government-regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research skills, experience handling complex correspondence, and the ability to interpret laws and regulations. Review and respond to correspondence from regulated entities regarding compliance with the Department of Financial Services’ Cybersecurity Regulation Answer phone calls and voicemails related to regulatory compliance matters Address related legal and administrative matters as instructed Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Candidate Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Paralegal Certificate Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing complex clerical-level legal support services to an attorney Minimum of two (2) years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite At least one (1) year of full-time work experience with the same employer Knowledge of basic legal processes, legal terminology, and legal forms Understanding of legal research techniques Ability to read, understand, and interpret laws, legal documents, and other written materials Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience Cybersecurity or data privacy experience Experience reviewing and responding to email and/or correspondence from government-regulated businesses and individuals Benefits:
