Litigation Paralegal

The ideal candidate will be responsible with assisting with pleadings, discovery and client interviews on various cases at the firm. This detail-orientated candidate should feel comfortable with playing a vital role in supporting attorneys with client contact and case management.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient legal support from a case's inception through resolution
• Conduct client interviews to gather relevant information for cases
• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions and discovery
• Maintain case files and document management systems
• Review and analyze documents for discovery purposes
• Work closely with handling attorneys and other staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
• Experience as a personal injury paralegal
• Knowledge of Court filing systems such as NYSCEF, PACER and E-law
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast paced, professional and supportive environment
• Bilingual preferred, but not required
