Position Overview: As a Defense General Liability Attorney, you will represent clients in various general liability claims. You will be responsible for litigation management from inception through appeal, handling a diverse caseload that may include premises liability, construction defect, and automobile liability, among others. This role requires a strategic, analytical thinker with a strong litigation background.

• Manage and oversee a varied caseload of general liability defense matters.
• Develop legal strategies to effectively resolve cases in favor of clients.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Attend court hearings, trials, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate consistently with clients, providing legal advice and updates.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants as necessary.
• Engage in settlement negotiations to resolve claims and manage risks.
• Stay current with changes in laws and regulations relevant to general liability.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in New York and/or New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania ; dual admissions are a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in general liability defense litigation.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in managing all phases of the litigation process.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
