The ideal candidate will have substantial civil litigation experience, including managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, participating in hearings and mediations, and handling matters before courts and administrative agencies. The attorney will have meaningful day-to-day responsibility for assigned cases and regular interaction with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and governmental agencies.
Candidates should have strong legal writing and analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage sophisticated assignments while collaborating with partners and other members of the litigation team. Prior experience defending employment claims is strongly preferred, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other workplace disputes.

JD degree from an ABA accredited law school4-7+ years of litigation experience, employment law background strongly preferred
Active New York Bar admission required, additional bar admissions a plus Understanding of current court and employment-related agency (state and federal) procedures
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in all aspects of federal and state court litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and hearing and trial experience
Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
