Overview

Elemis is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Amazon Supply Chain to oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations on the Amazon Seller Central platform. This role is critical for efficient inventory management, streamlined logistics and shipping processes, accurate management of FBA fees, and achieving KPIs related to inventory health. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and a proven track record of managing supply chain functions within the Amazon ecosystem.

Experience with in the beauty industry is highly valued. This role will collaborate closely with warehouse teams to facilitate seamless Amazon order fulfillment and inventory transfer processes.

Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management:
    Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize holding costs, and prevent stockouts on Amazon. Utilize Amazon Seller Central tools and reports to monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and proactively address potential issues. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize replenishment strategies, and improve turnover. Collaborate with internal Amazon channel to align inventory plans with promotional activities and sales forecasts.
  • Logistics & Shipping:
    Manage and optimize inbound and outbound logistics for Amazon FBA. Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and other logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping. Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve delays or discrepancies. Ensure compliance with Amazon s shipping guidelines and requirements.
  • FBA Management:
    Monitor and analyze Amazon FBA fees (storage, fulfillment, and other costs). Identify opportunities to optimize FBA structures and minimize expenses. Reconcile FBA statements and address discrepancies.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    Define and track KPIs related to inventory management (e.g., stockout rate, inventory turnover, carrying cost) and logistics efficiency. Generate regular reports on inventory performance, logistics metrics, and FBA costs. Identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Warehouse

    Collaboration:

    Serve as the primary point of contact for warehouse teams regarding Amazon order fulfillment and inventory transfer processes. Develop and maintain clear communication channels and SOPs for warehouse interactions related to Amazon. Coordinate the timely and accurate processing of Amazon orders and shipments from the warehouse. Manage inventory transfers between warehouses and Amazon FBA, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Amazon Seller Central Expertise:
    Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Amazon Seller Central for inventory management, shipping management, and reporting. Stay up-to-date on Amazon s policies, tools, and best practices related to supply chain operations.
  • Sustainability Responsibility:
    Ensure all duties contribute to the short- and long-term Sustainability Goals set forth by Elemis (Climate, Biodiversity & People Pillars).
Qualifications & Characteristics
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, specifically within the Amazon ecosystem.
  • Proven expertise in utilizing Amazon Seller Central for inventory management and logistics.
  • Strong understanding of FBA operations, fees, and best practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems or other inventory management software.
  • Experience managing relationships and processes with warehouse teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working within the beauty industry and understanding its specific supply chain nuances.
