About the Role

Responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier performance. This role ensures materials, supplies, labor, and equipment are sourced, managed, and delivered efficiently to support production and customer commitments while driving cost savings and continuous improvement.

  • Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on cost optimization, service levels, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and project teams to forecast demand and ensure supply continuity.
  • Identify risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, logistics, and inventory processes.
  • Partner closely with the R&D and product development teams to support new system and product launches, ensuring supply chain readiness through early supplier involvement, material sourcing strategies, cost analysis, and scalability planning.
Vendor and Supplier Management
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers while negotiating contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Analyze supplier performance using KPIs (cost, quality, delivery) and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives, including competitive bidding and long‑term supplier partnerships.
  • Resolve supplier‑related issues and drive accountability through structured feedback and continuous improvement practices.
Inventory & Demand Management
  • Oversee inventory planning and control to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
  • Implement demand planning and forecasting processes in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory performance metrics (turnover, carrying cost, service levels) and drive improvements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication of inventory status, lead times, and potential shortages.
  • Develop and enhance inventory systems and processes for efficiency and visibility.
Team Leadership, Process Improvement & Reporting
  • Provide leadership and direction to supply chain, purchasing, and inventory personnel.
  • Develop team capabilities through training, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability across the team.
  • Assign and prioritize workload to ensure efficient department operations.
  • Recruit and onboard new team members as required.
  • Develop, document, and implement standardized supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Analyze data and generate reports on procurement, inventory, and logistics performance.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and efficiency gains across the supply chain.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations management
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, sourcing, and logistics
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
