The RoleGema Products is seeking an experienced Shipping Coordinator to manage both domestic and international shipping operations in a fast‑paced wholesale environment. This role will work closely with sales, operations, freight forwarders, and retail partners to ensure accurate routing, timely shipments, and precise invoicing.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate domestic and international shipments
, working directly with freight forwarders - Manage routing for inbound and outbound freight, ensuring cost‑effective and timely delivery
- Prepare, review, and process shipping invoices
, ensuring accuracy and timely submission - Communicate shipment status, delays, and documentation requirements to internal teams and external partners
- Maintain detailed shipping records and documentation
- Support compliance with retailer routing guides and freight requirements
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, warehouse, and accounting teams
- 2+ years of experience as a Shipping Coordinator or similar logistics role within wholesale or consumer products
- Hands‑on experience managing both domestic and international freight forwarding
- Strong experience working with freight forwarders on both origin and destination sides
- Proven experience with routing and invoicing
- Familiarity shipping to large retailers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Comfortable working fully onsite in New York City
- Experience with AMT (a plus)
- Prior exposure to retailer compliance programs and routing guides
