On-site, 5 days/week
Own the full import lifecycle for a fast-moving apparel and textile business, from first booking to final delivery.
Must-Haves- Experience in apparel or textile import operations, required
- Solid knowledge of import documentation, customs compliance, and HTS classification
- Proven ability to negotiate freight rates and manage carrier relationships
- Strong attention to detail in valuation accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Comfortable working fully on-site in New York City, five days a week
- Manage the end-to-end import process from booking to delivery
- Prepare, review, and submit all import documentation accurately and on time
- Track shipments, resolve delays, and communicate proactively with suppliers and vendors
- Ensure goods are properly classified and accurately valued for customs
- Negotiate competitive freight rates and maintain strong carrier partnerships
