The roleAs Huel continues to expand rapidly across the US and beyond, we’re looking for a Production Planner to join our team. This role is a key part of our supply chain strategy and making sure the right products are produced at the right time, and materials are managed to keep everything in stock for our customers. You’ll work closely with our Demand and Materials Teams, plan production across US co‑manufacturers and partner with Logistics to keep stock flowing seamlessly into distribution centers and retailers.
No two days will be the same, you’ll build strong relationships with external partners, flag risks and opportunities to internal stakeholders, and keep our planning systems up to date so operations run like clockwork. Below is a snapshot of the key responsibilities and expectations for the role:
- Delivering on our customer promise of “never out of stock”, you’ll oversee the production planning for a portfolio of finished goods to ensure that we have the right amount of stock at all times.
- Monitoring and communicating stock availability and finished goods supply risks to the wider business; solving issues wherever possible.
- Building strong, direct operational relationships to ensure Huel gets the best service out of our co‑manufacturers, distribution centers and storage partners.
- Troubleshooting issues to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of your area, as well as making changes to ongoing ways of working in order to continuously improve our supply chain performance.
- Working closely with your colleagues across Supply Chain to ensure planned production can be executed on time and in full, including appropriate planning for inbound material deliveries.
This role will suit someone with 1–3 years’ experience in a fast‑paced supply chain environment, ideally within the food & drink, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, or beauty & skincare industries.
- If you have experience using an ERP system this would be an advantage. We use Net Suite and Anaplan.
- You’ll be a great communicator with experience working with external partners and/or suppliers.
- Strong problem analysis and solving capability; willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
- Data. Data. Data. You’ll need to be proficient with either Excel or Google Sheets.

- A competitive salary range of $80,000‑$90,000 per annum depending on your skills and experience
- Hybrid working – We spend Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office together. The remaining two days have the option to be worked from home.
