Job Description & Responsibilities

Persistent Systems seeks a Demand Planning Associate to collaborate cross‑functionally with procurement, sales, production, field operations, engineering, and logistics to support sales forecasting and demand triggers. The role uses real‑time inventory data to formulate and manage a robust shipment plan, ensuring on‑time delivery of customer orders.

• Maintain ERP system processes for demand planning and inventory functions of product lines, supporting material and finished goods requirements.
• Develop new reporting metrics and solutions to grow supply‑chain analytical capabilities.
• Research and analyze sales trends and demand drivers.
• Conduct KPI analysis across product lines.
• Monitor, identify, and coordinate internal and external inventory locations to improve supply efficiency and order fill rate.
• Maintain and distribute the On‑Time Delivery Report KPI.
• Provide quick, accurate responses to sales for lead time requests.
• Provide ad‑hoc inputs and analysis to other supply‑chain stakeholders to maximize decision making.

• United States security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in supply‑chain, logistics and/or demand planning.
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and forecasting methods.
• Proven experience with demand‑planning software and ERP systems.
• Proficient with MS Office (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros).

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply‑chain management, statistics or related field.
• Certified Supply‑Chain Professional (CSCP).
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
• Lean Six Sigma certification (any level).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and self‑motivation skills.

Base salary ranges from $76,000 to $93,000 annually, based on education and experience.
