Receiving Associate Bear Mountain

Job Summary

Compensation Amount: 19.00 USD per hour.

The Receiving Associate coordinates and plans the warehouse storage and distribution of the products and materials within the unit.

• Participate in the operational duties specific to the unit.
• Receive merchandise, supplies, and equipment delivered to the warehouse.
• Maintain receiving records, controls, and inventories.
• Submit proper accounting records and files to the Accounting Department as required.
• Maintain and ensure a safe and secure facility environment including standards for loss prevention, maintenance and upkeep of the facility's vehicles, equipment, housekeeping, sanitation, dress, cash control, and employee hygiene.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Notify the Unit Manager of all unusual events, circumstances, or other safety or quality control issues.
• Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
• Maintain and enhance the company's image when interacting with clients, guests, associates, and vendors.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues, and report them immediately to your manager.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; work well on a team; problem-solve.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively looking for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
• Basic bookkeeping accounting skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

• Moving about on foot, frequent movements from place to place within the unit.
• Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently.
• Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand for the entire work day and climb steps regularly.
• Withstand temperature extremes indoors and outdoors.
• Reading and writing work‑related documents in English.
• Speech recognition and clarity, including ability to understand speech of customers and co‑workers and speak clearly in English.
• Constantly communicate and receive verbal communication with other employees in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical presence at the job site is essential.

• Standard hospitality facility equipment.
• Standard lift and warehouse equipment (forklift, ladder, among others).
• Truck and other operational vehicles.
• Typical office equipment (computer, fax, telephone, copier, scanner, among others).
