Global Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute global logistics strategy.
• Own and manage Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Manage air and ocean freight operations, including expedited shipments.
• Facilitate global trade compliance, regulatory management, and Incoterms 2020.
• Manage supplier and logistics service providers (3PL/4PL).
• Manage budget, costs, and lean freight cost rationalization.
• Manage risk and improve supply chain resilience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, quality).
• Report on KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee compliance, audits, and documentation control.

Required

Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years in logistics or transportation management within aerospace or complex industrial manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience with TMS, international shipping execution, air/ocean freight, and multimodal logistics.
• Solid understanding of global trade compliance principles.
• Experience in multinational supply chains.
• Must have implemented TMS solutions within companies.
• Prior experience and knowledge of VMI strategies with 3PL and 4PL providers.
• Prior experience in lean freight cost rationalization?

Preferred

Qualifications and Skills:

• Aerospace experience supporting commercial aircraft programs.
• Experience managing AOG (Aircraft on Ground) or time-critical logistics.
• Knowledge of Incoterms 2020.
• Exposure to SAP.
• Experience with global suppliers and manufacturing sites.
• VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) strategies with 3PL/4PL providers.
• Lean freight cost rationalization.
