Position Summary
Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator – Supply Chain – Manhasset. The successful candidate is responsible for assisting CSC management in the control and ongoing evaluation of inventory for perioperative services, ensuring clinical/surgical staff receive all necessary items on a timely and efficient basis. The role includes maintaining and updating the CSC Perioperative Pyxis supply system and supervising CSC activities and training.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain supply/implant levels of assigned area, ordering, tracking, restocking, monitoring, reviewing and removing expired or obsolete items, and establishing appropriate reorder points.
- Supervise all CSC activities, providing guidance and training to the CSC Inventory Associate team to ensure appropriate inventory levels and efficient delivery of inventory.
- Maintain and update the CSC Perioperative Pyxis supply system; new item setup, adjustment of appropriate PARS & reorder points; process changes requested by clinical management and provide reports to the CSC Director.
- Limit and manage out‑of‑stock issues through coordination with CSC, clinical management, and the warehouse team regarding backorders, recalls, discontinued/replaced, expiring or temporarily unavailable products; communicate all issues/resolutions on a timely basis.
- Complete monthly expiration audits of assigned area, removing expired/expiring items, alerting clinical management, and processing orders to replenish supply; compile audits and provide to CSC Director.
- Verify receipt of orders, identify non‑receipt items, and coordinate with purchasing and warehouse staff to develop and implement appropriate resolution.
- Demonstrate the ability to monitor, audit, and enhance the quality of the supply chain process, customer service, good judgment, solid decision making, time‑management skills, and initiative.
- Maintain proper communication etiquette via telephone and email; exemplify integrity, accountability, dependability, reliability, and comply with departmental and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Bachelor's Degree with 0–1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong skills in inventory control management, 0–1 year of progressive work experience in supply distribution. Extensive customer service skills, computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications- 2 years of Operating Room/Supply Chain/Sterile Processing experience.
- 1–2 years of EPIC/patient scheduling experience.
- Experience in computerized inventory control with an emphasis on medical/surgical supplies.
- Knowledge of Clinical Supply/Materials Management general operations and/or specialty healthcare products.
- Certification in Materials Resources Professional (CMRP).

SalaryThe salary range for this role is $66,300.00 – $66,300.00 annually. Actual salaries depend on experience, specialty, education and hospital need.
