Kelly Services is partnering with a rapidly growing luxury brand seeking a Logistics & Customs Manager to lead U.S. customs compliance, international transportation, and 3PL operations. This is a highly visible role supporting a growing retail, wholesale, and e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will bring strong customs compliance expertise, import/export experience, and a proven track record managing freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
WhatYou'll Do
- Lead U.S. Customs Compliance:
Own customs compliance for all U.S. import and export activities - Ensure compliance with CBP, Fish & Wildlife, Lacey Act, TSCA, and related regulations
- Manage customs brokers and oversee customs declarations
- Review duties, tariffs, post-entry activity, and special programs including TI
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support regulatory audits
- Utilize ACE and other customs systems to monitor compliance and reporting
- Oversee domestic and international transportation operations
- Manage freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics providers
- Drive transportation cost savings and service improvements
- Support logistics for retail stores, events, marketing initiatives, and new business projects
- Track logistics KPIs and vendor performance
- Serve as primary contact for third-party logistics providers
- Monitor warehouse performance, inventory flow, and service levels
- Review logistics invoices and manage cost control
- Lead process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, customs compliance, global trade, transportation, or supply chain operations
- Strong knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations and CBP requirements
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers
- Hands-on experience with ACE and customs documentation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) highly preferred
- Experience in luxury goods, jewelry, fashion, retail, or high-value products is a plus
- French language skills are a plus
