Sourcing Manager

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Sourcing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and develop sourcing strategies that support our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about optimizing procurement processes and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products while maintaining cost efficiency.

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on categories such as manufacturing, logistics, and materials management.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply, negotiate contracts, and optimize pricing structures.
• Utilize ERP systems like SAP and Oracle EBS to streamline procurement workflows and track supply chain performance.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve supply disruptions or quality issues effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on production planning, inventory management, and logistics to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) when applicable.
• Lead category management initiatives to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

• Understand and build category cost models
• Research and analyses market intelligence data for trends in commodity prices which could directly impact category spend
• Share of business planning and monitoring
• Driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends.
• Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality
• Collaborating with the procurement department to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities
• Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulations
• Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships
• Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Implement procurement strategy and policies
• Annual Budgeting and Planning
• Manage inflation as per budgeted / targeted levels
• Closely work with planning and purchase team to ensure on time in full availability of material
• Build strong relationship with suppliers for long term competitive advantage
• Identify value engineering initiatives for cost optimization
• Generate MIS on sourcing performance against budget on monthly basis
