Our client, an established children's apparel manufacturer, is looking for an experienced E-Commerce Demand Planning Manager to lead forecasting, inventory planning, and business performance across major e-commerce channels.
5 days on site in Midtown
What You'll Do:- Own demand forecasting and inventory planning for a growing portfolio of products.
- Balance strong in-stock performance while minimizing excess inventory and improving cash flow.
- Manage category-level P&L performance, identifying opportunities to drive revenue, margin, and profitability.
- Lead weekly and monthly planning processes, aligning cross‑functional teams on forecasts, risks, and business priorities.
- Partner with Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory flow across Amazon, Walmart, and 3PL networks.
- Analyze sales trends, SKU performance, pricing, promotions, and market dynamics to support strategic decision‑making.
- Support new product launches through forecasting, buy planning, and inventory ramp strategies.
- Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and forecasting accuracy initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product, Sourcing, and Production teams to optimize costs and improve portfolio performance.
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Merchandising, or Retail Planning
- Strong experience managing or influencing P&L performance
- Advanced analytical and forecasting capabilities
- Advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas)
- Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
