Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Supply Chain/Procurement Clerk to join their team. As a Supply Chain/Procurement Clerk, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Supply Chain/Procurement Clerk
Location: Goshen, NY
Pay Range: $27.00/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
What's the Job?
- Support all aspects of the Supply Chain Operations following the SCOR model:
Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Return - Maintain raw material, packaging, finished goods, and trade goods inventory from purchase order through payable
- Procure raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and trade goods adhering to best practices for stock levels and risk mitigation
- Process payables for inventory-related invoices including items, freight, and duties
- Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, and related communication
What's Needed?
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP systems
- 1-3 years of professional experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain roles
- Knowledge of raw material markets for lubricants is a plus
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments such as Production, Quality, Inside Sales, and Finance
