Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator

In this role, the Clinical Supply Chain Coordinator (CSC COORDINATOR LI) assists CSC management in the control and ongoing evaluation of inventory for perioperative services, ensuring that clinical and surgical staff receive all necessary items on a timely and efficient basis. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating the CSC Perioperative Pyxis supply system, processing and tracking requisitions, decanting and distributing incoming supply/implant deliveries, reviewing and removing expired and obsolete items, and monitoring and adjusting supply levels.
The Coordinator also limits and manages out‑of‑stock issues, communicates with clinical management and supply chain leadership, provides first‑line supervision of CSC activities, and trains new hires and associates to ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and monitor supply/implant levels in assigned area, including ordering, tracking, restocking, reviewing and removing expired or obsolete items, and establishing reorder points.
- Maintain and update the CSC Perioperative Pyxis supply system, process changes requested by clinical management, and provide reports to the CSC Director.
- Coordinate efforts to limit and manage out‑of‑stock issues through teamwork with CSC, clinical management, and warehouse.
- Conduct monthly expiration audits, remove expired items, alert clinical management, and provision replacement orders.
- Verify receipt of orders, identify non‑receipt items, and coordinate resolutions with purchasing and warehouse staff.
- Monitor, audit, and enhance the quality of the supply‑chain process, demonstrating good judgement, decision making, time‑management, and initiative.
- Use appropriate communication in all interactions, demonstrating telephone and email etiquette and consistent professional behavior.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree with 0–1 year of experience, or equivalent education/experience. Proven skills in inventory control and supply distribution, strong customer service, computer literacy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications2 years of Operating Room/Supply Chain/Sterile Processing experience.
1–2 years of EPIC patient scheduling experience.
Experience in computerized inventory control for medical/surgical supplies.
Knowledge of clinical supply/materials management operations or specialty healthcare products.
Certification in Materials Resources (CMRP).
