Supply Chain / Logistics (Operations) Manager
The Supply Chain / Logistics (Operations) Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day supply chain operations with a primary focus on outbound logistics and order fulfillment while partnering closely with the Director of Operations on inbound supply chain activities. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams, freight forwarders, third‑party logistics (3PL) providers, and major wholesale customers to ensure efficient movement of goods, inventory visibility, and on‑time delivery performance.
The position will lead a team consisting of Al locators, an Import Coordinator, and overseas Order Entry Coordinators, driving operational excellence across order management, transportation, allocation, and customer fulfillment.
- Manage and monitor open orders from receipt through shipment and delivery.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of wholesale, off‑price, club, and mass‑market customer orders.
- Coordinate routing, scheduling, and shipment execution with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for 3PL providers and key wholesale accounts.
- Proactively identify and resolve shipping delays, routing issues, chargebacks, and service disruptions.
- Monitor order flow and inventory availability to support customer delivery requirements.
- Partner with the Director of Operations on inbound logistics, import activities, and inventory planning.
- Collaborate with sourcing, production, customer service, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics related to fulfillment, transportation, inventory, and customer service.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of:
- 2 Al locators
- Import Coordinator
- Overseas Order Entry Coordinators
- Establish performance expectations and drive accountability across the team.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between domestic and international operations teams.
- Build strong relationships with wholesale customers, 3PL partners, freight forwarders, and transportation providers.
- Act as an escalation point for operational issues impacting customer deliveries.
- Support compliance with retailer routing guides and shipping requirements.
- Utilize the AMT ERP system to manage order processing, inventory visibility, and operational reporting.
- Generate and analyze reports related to order status, inventory allocation, shipment tracking, and logistics performance.
- Recommend system and process enhancements to improve operational effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or order fulfillment management.
- Experience managing teams within wholesale, consumer goods, apparel, or related industries.
- Strong background supporting mass‑market, mid‑tier, off‑price, and/or club channel customers.
- Experience working directly with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers.
- Knowledge of import and export logistics, transportation management, and order allocation processes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with AMT ERP is highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
- Experience supporting Walmart and other major national retailers strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with retailer compliance requirements, routing guides, and chargeback prevention.
- Apparel, footwear, accessories, or consumer products industry experience.
- Proven ability to improve supply chain processes and operational performance.
Salary $100,000-$130,000
