Our client, a well‑known music entertainment company, is looking for someone to join their team as a Logistics Coordinator. This role is hybrid in New York City!
This is a W2 contract budgeted until December 18, 2026
In this role, you'll help ensure products move seamlessly from vendors to warehouses, retail distribution centers, and tour locations around the world, including high‑profile merchandise launches where timing is critical and shipments often require expedited handling.
What You Will Be Doing- Coordinate domestic and international merchandise shipments for eCommerce, retail, and tour operations.
- Manage inbound shipments to warehouses, distribution centers, and event locations while ensuring on-time delivery.
- Track shipments from origin to destination and proactively resolve transportation issues.
- Partner with freight carriers, vendors, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Troubleshoot shipping delays, including customs clearance issues, and communicate timely updates to all impacted parties.
- Support high-profile merchandise launches and time-sensitive shipments that require quick execution and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate shipment tracking, documentation, and status updates across multiple systems.
- Prioritize and manage a high volume of communications in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure logistics operations align with business deadlines and customer expectations.
- Provide occasional after-hours support for urgent shipments, product launches, or critical business needs
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or merchandise operations.
- Experience coordinating domestic shipments; international logistics experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of LTL shipping, carrier networks, and freight coordination is preferred.
- Experience managing customs issues or international shipment exceptions is a plus.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with , SharePoint, Fed Ex Advanced Shipment Tracking, and UPS Quantum View is preferred.
- Experience shipping apparel, merchandise, or consumer products is highly preferred.
- Background in music merchandise, entertainment, live events, or retail merchandising is a plus.
