• Deliver products from the commissary to our stores throughout NYC daily, with two deliveries per store each day.
• Review orders prior to delivery with the commissary leadership team to ensure accuracy.
• Load and unload trucks, and obtain necessary signatures once products are received in the local stores.
• Return to the commissary, submit delivery paperwork for management review and file away.
• Prepare for the next delivery.
• Maintain truck safety and perform daily maintenance walk‑throughs.
• Track temperature logs, daily gas/mileage logs, and maintain a break log.
• Provide courteous, professional, and well‑spoken customer service as a customer‑facing position.

• Valid Class driver’s license.
• Experience driving trucks with air brakes (required).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Follow thoroughly company procedures according to health and safety standards.

Ole & Steen was founded in 1991 by the Danish bakers Ole Kristoffersen and Steen Skallebæk and originally called Lagkagehuset or “The Layer Cake House”. Ole & Steen is pioneer in the resurgence of artisanal and handcrafted baking practices in Denmark. In 2008 the two bakers joined forces and became the organization we know today. We have been Denmark’s favorite bakery for more than 30 years, serving delicious Danish breads, pastries, cakes, single estate coffee and food.

We opened our first bakery on Union Square in 2019 to huge acclaim and fantastic reviews and we’re continuing our exciting growth journey – we currently operate 3 retail stores across NYC, and we have plans to grow and expand over the coming years!
