The AVS Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager serves as a key point of contact between Retail, Supply Chain, and Vendors, contributing to vendor‑level operational strategy, annual negotiations, and opportunities to reduce cost and waste in the supply chain.

• Identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around demand and production planning
• Monitoring, analyzing, and owning Vendor Key Performance Indicators such as Out of Stock rate, Total Inbound lead time, and confirmation rates, and presenting insights, themes, and trends to Senior Leadership
• Strategically analyzing production and delivery lead‑times while optimizing operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations, efficient receive processes, and inventory placement
• Spearheading initiatives to enhance cost structure and profitability, collaborating closely with partner teams to ensure successful execution
• Quarterly travel to vendor sites to support ongoing partnership

• Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
• 6+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, engineering, business management, or other relevant field
• Experience managing multiple projects in parallel through prioritization, planning, and task delegation
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with business partners
• 6+ years of proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex supply chain projects, preferably in a large‑scale retail or e‑commerce environment
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable supply chain strategies. Microsoft Excel and SQL preferred.

• Experience with SQL
• MBA, or Master's degree
• 3+ years of negotiations and vendor management experience
• Ability to problem‑solve creatively by adapting frameworks or existing best practices
