Procurement Expeditor

General Description:

The Expeditor is the focal point for the communication, maintenance and update of supplier delivery commitments noted in the contract/purchase order as negotiated by the Buyer. Through regular communication with assigned suppliers, the expeditor insures that the latest delivery information is kept up to date and relayed to the cognizant Buyers via the use of CPI internal systems/reporting. All activities in accordance with all company directives and work instructions.

• Ensure Suppliers maintain negotiated commitments via the Purchase Order
• Communicate changes to those commitments via CPI tools
• Support Customer changes in requirements and align with Supplier
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendor contractors, agency officials and departmental personnel in a professional and positive manner

• Proficiency in standard computing software including MS Word, Excel, Power Point
• Experience in MRP/ERP system
• 0-2 years experience
• High School diploma. Associates Degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience

The salary range for this position is: $ per hour. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and other factors allowed by law. Individuals are not typically hired at or near the top of the salary range.
