Air Export Coordinator | New York, NY | Salary up to $65,000
As an Air Export Coordinator, you will manage international air export shipments from start to finish, coordinating bookings, documentation, and customer communication while ensuring shipments are delivered efficiently and in compliance with export regulations.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate international air export shipments from booking through to final delivery
- Prepare and process all export documentation, including House and Master Air Waybills
- Arrange bookings with airlines and approved carriers
- Ensure shipments comply with TSA, IATA, and U.S. export regulations
- Submit AES filings and maintain accurate shipment records
- Communicate with overseas agents, customers, airlines, and trucking companies
- Track shipments and provide proactive updates to customers
- Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and service issues
- Coordinate cargo collections and warehouse handling
- Ensure accurate billing and invoicing of completed shipments
- Maintain shipment data within Cargo Wise or a similar freight forwarding system
Requirements
- 2+ years of air export freight forwarding experience
- Strong knowledge of international air export procedures and documentation
- Experience preparing Air Waybills and AES filings
- Familiarity with TSA and IATA regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments
