International Logistics Manager; Parental Coverage

Summary

The International Logistics Manager (parental coverage) will oversee and optimize end-to-end international inbound logistics for sellable and non-sellable goods, ensuring timely delivery to U.S. and Canadian distribution centers. The role manages vendor and broker relationships, tracks performance and costs, and drives operational improvements during a six-month assignment.

• Oversee international inbound logistics flows for sellable goods sourced from central distribution centers, including origins in France.
• Manage logistics flows for non-sellable goods originating from Asia, Mexico, and France and ensure replenishment to four distribution centers (three U.S., one Canada).
• Serve as primary contact for two logistics vendors and coordinate closely with customs brokers and the customs compliance team.
• Monitor transportation performance, lead times, on-time delivery, and vendor KPIs; identify and resolve operational issues.
• Drive corrective action plans with vendors and brokers to improve service, compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Track and analyze logistics and freight costs, review and validate vendor invoices, and elevate discrepancies for resolution.
• Provide structure, governance, and handover documentation to support business continuity during the six-month assignment.

• 3-5 years of professional experience in logistics, international logistics, or supply chain.
• Proven vendor management experience and strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power Query and Power BI highly desirable.
• Experience managing customs processes and working with customs brokers; strong attention to shipping and documentation accuracy.
• Fluency in French is considered a valuable asset.
