TWP is looking for a Leather & Accessories Production Coordinator
. This position will report to the Import Production Manager. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to implement and improve processes while maintaining quality, timelines and budget.
- Follow the T&A calendar to plan and issue seasonal purchase orders to factories.
- Support open-costing negotiations and understand duty, freight, and landed cost implications.
- Maintain cost sheets alignment with company margin targets.
- Partner with Technical Design, Design, and Product Development teams to ensure accurate consumption, materials, trims, and production processes.
- Track production from SMS review through PP, TOP, and final delivery to the NJ warehouse.
- Coordinate QC inspections with factories and/or warehouse management as needed.
- Liaise with specialty category consultants outside of office to support seasonal capsule execution, ensuring quality, costing, and on‑time delivery.
- Collaborate with inbound logistics to prioritize orders and support timely deliveries to customers and warehouse locations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with factories and vendors.
- Partner with the Raw Materials team to track the arrival of key materials, hardware, and trims to factories.
- Coordinate with factories and logistics teams to ensure timely freight bookings.
- Create and maintain WIP reports, cost charts, BOMs, styles, and POs within the ERP system.
- Participate in weekly WIP meetings and communicate delivery risks or production concerns.
- Manage invoice approvals and cost actualization.
- Maintain organized production files and accurate product records.
- Support recut and replenishment programs by monitoring inventory with Merch team and check factory capacity regularly
- Assist with counter‑sourcing initiatives in partnership with Design and Development teams.
- Help maintain alternative production options across categories.
- 2-3 years’ experience in accessories, leather goods, or/and jewelry production.
- Knowledge of leather materials and accessories construction; understanding of technical design concepts a must
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Fashion, Production, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Designer brand experience preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial, multi‑channel environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems, Blue Cherry preferred.
- Salary range: $65,000–$80,000 annually
