Our Client, a leading skincare brand, is seeking a Wholesale Planning Manager to partner with key retail accounts and drive commercial growth across its wholesale business.
Responsibilities- Own sales and inventory forecasts across key wholesale accounts, including Sephora USA/Canada, Nordstrom, Bluemercury, Space NK, and specialty and international retailers.
- Develop and maintain SKU-level demand plans using weekly sell-through trends, product launches, promotional calendars, retailer weeks of supply, and distribution changes.
- Analyze weekly and monthly account performance to proactively identify risks, opportunities, and inventory trends.
- Present forecasting insights, risks, and opportunities during weekly planning and commercial meetings.
- Partner with Commercial teams on seasonal assortments, replenishment strategies, and new product launches.
- Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to align purchase orders, lead times, and inventory availability.
- Document planning processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve forecast accuracy, automate manual processes, and enhance planning efficiency.
- 5+ years of wholesale planning experience, preferably supporting prestige beauty, personal care, or specialty retail accounts.
- Proven experience managing item- and account-level forecasts for retailers such as Sephora
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex workbooks, pivot tables, and formula-driven forecasting models.
- Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite preferred), EDI integrations, and retailer operational requirements.
- Interest in or experience adopting AI-powered planning and forecasting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to present complex forecasting data and business recommendations to senior leadership.
- Highly proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
