Maintenance Coordinator

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Coordinator provides support to enhance the efficiency of the maintenance department. Responsibilities include assisting Maintenance Manager generating, tracking purchase orders, new vendor setup, and being a parts runner. Maintain accurate records and control reports of vendors. Provide clerical and administrative support in JDE.

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with all personnel, vendors, contractors, and peers in a team environment.
  • Establish, generate, distribute, and track to completion all types of work orders as well as file/catalog completed work orders.
  • Research and establish preventative maintenance practices for various facilities and bottling assets that have not previously been defined.
  • Use available information to develop reporting metrics for all maintenance work orders.
  • Ability to set up new vendors, new items, relocate inventory, and create unexpected arrivals.
  • Responsible for creating purchase orders and receiving of purchased material, stocking, issuing, and locating inventory utilizing JDE, excel and other systems.
  • Ensure all purchase orders and returns for stock items have appropriate documentation attached and are in their folders at the end of each business day. Items include signed purchase orders, requisition, packing slip and receiving receipt.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to set up new vendors, new items, relocate inventory, and create unexpected arrivals.
  • Ability to price items if needed with vendors and to re-negotiate existing items for additional savings.
  • Follow up on all open purchase orders, verify shipments.
  • Track parts to and from fabricators and rebuilders.
  • Track stock levels, order points and quantities based on usage. Keep monthly usage statistics for a rotating 24 months.
  • Keep up with documentation and invoices received.
  • Maintaining strict adherence and control of regulatory documents.
  • Driving of company vehicle to pick-up parts and deliver items to other TWG facilities.
  • Correspond and/or communicate with A/P and vendors to correct or modify invoices and vendors issues.
  • Resolve document, invoicing and receiving issues.
  • Establishes and maintains department cost effective goals.
  • Perform safety and/or environmental inspections as assigned.
  • Ensure hazardous waste area is maintained within SOP.
  • Support and model all company procedures and policies.
  • Assist in laying out the storeroom shelving, bins, drawers, etc.
  • Responsible for kitting of project / PM work.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 or older at time of hire.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required / acceptable applicable work experience.
  • Must have a valid California Driver's License and be able to drive for the organization.
  • Must have a well-developed attention to detail, including ability to keep accurate records.
  • Excellent computer skills, Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English, comprehend, and carry out verbal and written instructions.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Physical Demands

  • Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Working environment with exposure to related equipment and noise levels.
  • Working outdoors in cold and hot environments.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in the storeroom environment.
  • Ability to operate various types of machinery to include, but not limited to, lift trucks, dump trucks, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.
  • Must be able to lift and carry weights of up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work on top of wine tanks.

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Range Posted: $20.38 – $30.58/hr.
  • Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, knowledge and abilities, education, and other position-related factors.
