Utility Team Lead

Job Responsibilities

• Consistently coordinate with Front and Back of House managers to align daily and upcoming event requirements.
• Proactively collaborate with all departments to ensure service items are available and ready.
• Effectively direct and assist the Utility team in maintaining an efficient and safe work area.
• Diligently assist with the transport of prepared foods and clean or soiled items to designated locations.
• Thoroughly operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools for optimal performance.
• Regularly enforce proper cleaning routines and compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
• Strategically manage and oversee completion of daily tasks by the Utility team.
• Continuously implement Standard Operating Procedures to maintain a safe work environment and reduce loss or breakage of service ware.
• Actively encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
• Reliably schedule the team and adjust staffing as needed to meet operational demands.
• Consistently carry out any other reasonable tasks set by the Chef and General Manager.

• Perform essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully in compliance with all federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance in accordance with all federal, state, and local standards.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Move about on foot to accomplish tasks, including frequent movement from place to place within the property; bend, lift, carry, reach and extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
• Climb steps regularly.
