Job DescriptionAs the founding hire for hardware operations, you will build and own the entire supply chain from scratch. You’ll manage contract manufacturers, navigate international logistics, and establish warehouse partnerships to move kiosks from design to global hotel lobbies. This is a high-impact, hands‑on role defining how Canary Technologies delivers physical products at scale.

You are the first dedicated hire for hardware operations, tasked with standing up the global supply chain, systems, and vendor partnerships from zero. - Global scale:
Support a product deploying to a massive existing base of 20,000+ hotels across 100+ countries, moving from pilot phases to mass international distribution. - Strategic impact:
Bridge the gap between software and physical product, owning the high-stakes logistics that ensure seamless guest experiences in hotel lobbies worldwide.
- Build and manage the global supply chain, including contract manufacturer relationships, purchase orders, lead times, and quality control for complex hardware units.
- Navigate international logistics by owning importer-of-record responsibilities, customs brokerage, and duties for large-enclosure shipments originating from overseas suppliers.
- Establish and scale 3PL and warehouse partnerships to manage inventory, assembly, kitting, and final-mile delivery to hotels ahead of installation dates.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or hardware operations, preferably within a high‑growth startup or manufacturing environment.
- Deep expertise in international freight and customs processes, with a proven track record of managing 3PLs and cross-border shipments of physical electronics.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a bias for action, capable of building repeatable, documented systems in an ambiguous, multi‑vendor environment.
