Within delegated authority, the Logistics Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
Logistics support with reference to the COE framework for new and ongoing peacekeeping and other field missions includes: supply chain management, materials management, transportation, contracts and services management, communications, information technology, engineering and medical services.
Incumbent at this level typically.
- Prepares logistics and support plans with reference to the MOU, deployment timelines and budget requirements for planned or peacekeeping missions.
- Develops logistical plans for existing missions.
- Develops and implements methodologies and tools to enable effective execution of logistic plans.
- Formulates mission specific Standard Operating Procedures.
