Vehicle Logistics Officer

• Coordinate bin collections to maximise route efficiency, minimise downtime and ensure timely service delivery
• Manage driver hours, billing and reporting duties across the site, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Respond proactively to customer issues and resolve operational concerns quickly and effectively
• Act as a key contact for operational queries from the Customer Services Team, Sales Team and customers
• Attend daily end-of-shift meetings with drivers to capture and address incidents, issues and operational feedback
• Facilitate monthly safety toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture
• Support drivers in carrying out their duties safely, competently and professionally
• Uphold health, safety, quality, environmental compliance, Chain of Responsibility and performance standards

• Experienced and motivated vehicle logistics professional
• Strong computer skills and confidence navigating relevant systems and software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Strong time management and ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Well-developed planning and organisational skills
• Genuine commitment to health and safety and ability to promote a strong safety culture
• Willingness to undertake a full pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening
• Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance
