Amazon is seeking an Area Manager II to lead high-volume Warehouse & Manufacturing operations in our Transportation & Logistics network. You will manage multiple process areas, driving safety, quality, and on-time delivery while leading and developing frontline teams. Using data and Lean principles, you will optimize labor, workflow, and inventory to meet aggressive performance goals. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners, uphold strict safety and compliance standards, and champion Amazon's culture of customer obsession, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse and manufacturing operations across multiple areas to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Manage, coach, and develop front-line leaders and associates, fostering Amazon's culture of customer obsession and innovation.
  • Own key performance metrics, analyze data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize flow and reduce defects.
  • Partner with transportation, supply chain, and support teams to ensure on-time fulfillment and efficient logistics.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards while driving a safe, inclusive work environment.
  • Plan labor, resources, and capacity to support fluctuating demand and peak periods.
  • Identify and remove operational bottlenecks using Lean tools and structured problem-solving.
  • Communicate performance, risks, and action plans to senior leadership through clear reporting and business reviews.
