Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Join Whitecap Search as a Warehouse Operations Coordinator, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and warehouse activities. This position involves coordinating with third-party logistics providers, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring customer shipment requirements are met efficiently and accurately.

• 3PL & Warehouse Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the 3PL, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and meet company standards.
  • Monitor inbound container receipts and coordinate timing, inventory replenishment, and receiving activities with the 3PL.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to the Passaic warehouse to oversee operations and performance.
• Logistics & Carrier Management
  • Manage relationships with LTL carriers, including rate negotiations and ongoing service performance.
  • Troubleshoot shipping issues in real time, including delays, damages, and misroutes.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the product line to make informed shipping, packaging, and logistics decisions.
• Customer Shipment Requirements
  • Manage customer-specific shipping requirements, including labeling, packaging, routing guides, appointment scheduling, and other unique instructions.
  • Ensure shipments comply with customer requirements and are delivered accurately and on time.
• Tradeshow Management
  • Coordinate logistics for tradeshow shipments, including packing, shipping, tracking, and delivery of show booths and sample lines.
• Systems & Process
  • Utilize SAP ERP to manage orders, monitor inventory visibility, and track shipments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, efficiency, and service levels.

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics processes.
• Experience with SAP ERP or similar systems.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
