Lead Sourcing Specialist – Commodity Management

• Develop and execute sourcing strategy for the assigned mechanical commodity with the global commodity leader
• Focus on variable cost productivity, cash flow, and financial controllership goals
• Lead end-to-end supplier management, including selection, qualification, development, and the full contract lifecycle from RFP to supplier exit
• Negotiate contracts and drive cost reduction by identifying savings opportunities and implementing sustainable cost controls
• Collaborate with Finance to validate cost-reduction impact on the general ledger
• Build technical and market expertise in the commodity area
• Monitor global supply market trends, regional capacity dynamics, and supplier capabilities
• Collaborate with engineering, Supplier Quality Engineers, fulfillment, logistics, and project teams
• Ensure suppliers are selected on time and equipment meets project requirements
• Optimize procurement processes and align with global sourcing initiatives
• Improve the experience for internal customers and drive continuous improvement

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience in a sourcing, operations, or supply chain role
• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in sourcing, sales, operations, engineering, and/or supply chain
• Prior sourcing experience in the energy, power generation, or industrial manufacturing sector preferred
• Strong data analysis capabilities preferred
• Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering results in a matrixed environment preferred
• Strong experience working with logistics and commercial teams to manage regional capacity and localization requirements preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems; SAP preferred
• Fluency in English
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable

Demonstrates expertise in sourcing strategy development, supplier management, and cost reduction within the mechanical commodity sector. Proficient in data analysis, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes.
