Ocean Import Coordinator

Location: Kew Gardens

Our client, a leading logistics and freight forwarding organization, is seeking an Ocean Import Coordinator to join their team. As an Ocean Import Coordinator, you will be part of the Office department supporting the logistics and customer service teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Shift:
** 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday to Friday

** What's the Job?*
* + Provide high-quality customer service by developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and operational teams.

+ Prepare, analyze, and submit documentation to ensure compliance with transportation laws and regulations.

+ Anticipate, identify, and resolve issues that could delay freight movement or release.

+ Coordinate with brokers, service providers, and internal teams to exceed customer service expectations.

+ Assist with billing, payment collection, and resolving banking or letter of credit issues.

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma or GED required.

+ Proficient computer skills and familiarity with logistics software.

+ Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

+ Experience in freight forwarding or logistics preferred.

+ Knowledge of air export regulations, hazardous materials handling, and international trade requirements.
