Location: New York
Primary Purpose
The Coordinator of Product Development supports the development process, encompassing sample management activities, achieving design aesthetic, quality standards, margin goals and timelines.
Responsibilities- Support product development activities including review of prototypes and samples, milestone adherence, and sending of development packages to overseas partners.
- Partner with Materials teams to procure sampling materials for all development milestones.
- Execute, maintain and update necessary data and tools.
- Manage day‑to‑day communication and activities with the Asia PD team.
- Support the approval process and resolve pending items to ensure a smooth transition from development to commercialization.
- Execute day‑to‑day activities based on priorities set by Manager, driving task completion and issue resolution.
- Demonstrate understanding of the development process, recognize implications when deadlines are missed, and alert manager of potential issues.
- Organize and maintain sample arrival and archiving.
- Support research and development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, ECV or other PLM systems.
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in product development, including handbags and SLGs (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi‑task.
- Flexibility to adapt as the business requires and to perform efficiently and effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability.
- Experience working in a global company with overseas partners.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Teams, Illustrator.

Base Pay Range$64,350.00–$70,000.00
