SUMMARYThe Inventory Planner – Omni-Channel is responsible for providing a forward-looking view of inventory across all channels, including Full-Price Retail, Outlet,E-commerce, Wholesale and Concessions.
This rolewill drive inventory visibility, health and productivity by analyzing current and projected inventory positions, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending actions to ensure inventory supports sales plans while minimizing excess.
The Inventory Planner will partner closely with Merchandise Planning, Demand Planning, Allocation, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES- Maintain a comprehensive view of current and projected inventory across all channels and distribution centers.
- Develop forward-looking inventory projections by channel and category, incorporating sales plans,receipts, current stock, seasonality and business trends.
- Monitor inventory health using key metrics including weeks of supply, sell-through, inventory turn,stock-to-sales and aged inventory.
- Identify inventory shortages, excess, imbalances and productivity opportunities, and recommend actions to improve inventory health.
- Maintain visibility toopen orders, future receipts and projected ending inventory; flag potential receipt or inventory risks before they impact the business.
- Analyze inventory performance across channels and identify opportunities to improve inventory utilization and productivity.
- Support key commercial periods, promotions and seasonal transitions through proactive inventory analysis.
- Conduct weekly inventory reviews and translate sales and inventory trends into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Develop and improve toolsand reporting that enhance inventory visibility and support faster decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Demand Planning, Allocation,Merchandising, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to align inventory with business needs.
