Summary
The Operations Associate is responsible for accurate and timely processing and distribution of service center repair orders, documents, and packages, and for creating and maintaining paperwork for domestic and international shipments. The role ensures proper packing, labeling, manifesting and POS processing while maintaining production and quality standards. The Associate liaises with internal departments, global after‑sales locations, vendors, and clients to resolve issues and support continuous operations.
Responsibilities- Process service orders and parts through closeout, POS, packing, manifesting, and labeling using appropriate materials and procedures
- Create and maintain service orders and commercial invoices for domestic and international shipments, ensuring country‑specific requirements are met
- Maintain an organized, safe, and secure workspace and adequate supply inventory for handling and packing client merchandise
- Organize and retain paperwork according to retention guidelines and manage shipping documentation
- Act as a liaison between the Service Center and internal clients, assisting with escalations and cross‑department communication
- Support management with projects, flex assignments, and process improvement initiatives
- Minimum 2 years of business experience with a strong operational background
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with shipping and tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail, English language and grammatical skills, and ability to shift tasks to meet daily needs
- High ability to collaborate and build strong business relationships; flexible schedule with availability for overtime and possible weekends
- Preferred: undergraduate degree and experience in packing, distribution, QA, or luxury retail operations
- Preferred: familiarity with jewelry, watches, clocks, knowledge of AS400, MIPS, POS, or Compass
